In his thirty years of work in the non-profit field, Mr. Barden has refined extensive skills in organization development, strategic planning, membership marketing and fundraising. Doug worked for over 10 years at Women's American ORT, first as Executive Director for District II (New York State), and then as the National Organization Department director.

A Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude graduate of Harpur College, Doug Barden holds an MA in social anthropology from the State University of New York in Binghamton, and an MBA in organization development from New York University. When he is not busy running around the country giving speeches, Doug is an avid photographer. He lives in Chappaqua, NY with his wife Roslyn, son Benjamin and daughter Dana.
